Quick start; didn’t take long to get in to the story line. Barely got a chance to figure out who’s who. This movie had so much potential. So much more thought could have been put in to developing what should have been frightful suspense, and a “Are you shitting!?” realization as to who was the wolf. Instead you either guessed it right or you didn’t and it didn’t matter. “Hoodwinked” was a better story line with a better villain.

Yes I sat and watched this movie. It was well made and fun. I took it on a suggestion for my kids, and enjoyed watching it with them. I admit there was a part of me that wanted to see it since it came out. It’s a good watch with your children or younger siblings.
Simple, straight forward. The mouse-knight Ripichi (I think) was by far the best character. Still I enjoyed it’s fun and fantasy story.
I had no intention of watching this movie. I’m not a Matt Damon fan even though he’s proven to be a diverse and talented actor. I don’t know why, he just doesn’t do it for me. The trailers didn’t capture my interest in the least and I was happy missing it all together.
But for some reasons I heard it get a lot if attention at The Golden Globes or something, I happen to come across it when I was looking for a couple of movies to rent, and so I picked it up.
I thought it was awesome. The story was a great twist on who The “devine beings” really are, and their influence over us puny humans. This fact isn’t a spoiler alert to anyone who hasn’t seen it yet so I don’t mind putting it in here. The plot was well explained and not over-complicated, the cast played their parts perfectly (even Matt), and there was never a dull or slow moment. Hell I’d watch it again.
So kudos to Matt. Anyone who’s wondering if it’s worth the rental, give it a shot cause it’s worth it.
Here’s a movie that pretty much matched my expectations. The trailer was interesting enough to peak my interest, and the movie kept my attention to see what happens next. I’ll admit I wasn’t prepared for the explanation of what was really happening, but it wasn’t an eye popping revelation either. I did enjoy seeing Adrian Quinn play this supporting role.
It’s worth the rental for any one looking for a decent movie to watch.
